when i lived in mexico city i spent much of my time venturing + taking photos of these beautiful lost pet posters i found. they made me think about expressions of loss + longing across cultural and geopolitical borders, while nurturing my own various heartbreaks (a reason why i ended up in cdmx to being with). these were created digitally, merging elements of the posters with photographs of were i found the poster hanging.

the lyrics featured in this collection, also inspired by the posters, was written just outside of chapultepec park, eating street fruit after being defeated by an intense bike ride.
